What stays in the bag
A short, honest inventory. This is a catalogue of our own products — there is no checkout here, no account to create and nothing for you to fill in.
What this site does collect
- Standard server logs
- Our host records the usual request data — page, time, rough location from your IP, browser type. It is used to keep the site up and to see which pages are worth expanding.
- Aggregate page counts
- We look at which bags and guides get read, in totals. It shapes what we photograph and write next.
What it never collects
- Payment details
- There is no checkout on this site. We never see a card number, because we never take one.
- Accounts or passwords
- Nothing to sign into. No profiles, no saved baskets, no newsletter list.
- Names and addresses
- Delivery details belong to the shop that fulfils your order. They are never sent to us.
When you follow a buy link
The link hands you to our retail partner's listing. From that moment their privacy notice applies, not ours, and they see the transaction the way any shop sees its own customers. We are told that a sale happened and which product it was — never who you are.
Cookies
We set none of our own. The affiliate programme our buy links belong to may set a cookie on the shop's side so a purchase can be attributed; your browser settings control it, and blocking it changes nothing about how this site works for you.
Questions you send us
If you email us, we keep the thread while the question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it. Ask us to delete it and we will.
This notice is reviewed whenever the site changes shape.
